The following is a compilation of a variety of landscape projects that Happy Bee has designed over the years.  It is all here, from the formal to the natural, the large to the small, the simple to the more complex, the front to the back, and everything in between.  Hopefully, you can see that xeriscaping does not have to be zeroscaping.

• Make no mistake, xeriscaping is NOT about rocks and cacti.  It is about colorful, diverse plants that thrive in arid climates and need very little supplemental water.
• Any beautiful landscape starts with a design and xeriscaping is no exception.  Before you move a shovel of dirt or plant a single flower, start with an overall plan for your outdoor space. 

As you can see by these photos, xeriscaping does not limit us; it broadens our horizons and offers us the gardening knowledge and plant selection to create outdoor spaces and gardens of extraordinary beauty and diversity that are very much in tune with the natural world around us.
